Road Construction Update
As part of the road project on Leung Road, the staircase and retaining wall at the north end of Leung Road will be removed for upgrades. The north end of the red shale trail near the old bus drop off loop will be closed as well.
There will be an alternative opening in the chain-link fence on the west side of the playground to the Daycare to support the Temporary Pedestrian Safety Plan.
Students living in Lakeview Close will need to use Laurel Close as Leung Road north of the Iron Ridge Junior Campus will be open to local vehicular traffic only for Lakeview Close by the end of this upcoming week.
We apologize for the last-minute update to the school and public as the extensive number of pedestrians using the pathway was recognized this past Friday when all students returned to school.
Tentative schedule is to open the chain-link fence and have the pathways and stairways closed by end of day Wednesday September 11th, 2024.
