We invite all parents, students and school community members to join us for an Iron Ridge Secondary Campus information night for families and community! We will answer questions regarding the new grades 9-12 high school in Blackfalds, including: A Commitment Survey & CTS Programming.

Iron Ridge Secondary Campus (IRSC) marks a significant milestone in Blackfalds’ educational landscape. Scheduled to open its doors in September 2024, IRSC is the first high school in Blackfalds, offering education from grades 9 to 12. Located right next to Iron Ridge Junior Campus, the school’s construction is well underway, promising an exciting future for our community’s students.

Career and Technology Studies (CTS) Options:

At IRSC, we’re passionate about offering diverse CTS programs. The possibilities are vast, including:

• welding • mechanics, • cosmetology • art • woodworking

Programming will be determined through enrollment, and feedback on interest. These options are not limited to high school students alone. Junior high students from Iron Ridge Junior Campus will also have access to these programs, creating a seamless educational journey.
